Olio su tela was applied by the painter as the technique for the piece of art. The original artwork's inscription is: "inscribed at lower left, on the edge of the wall: DESORIA / 1797 an V". Today, the work of art can be viewed in in the Art Institute Chicago's digital art collection in Chicago, Illinois, United States of America.
